Rice has been used as part of the skin regime for years in Japan, Korea and China. Rice is made of minerals, acids and vitamins (Vitamin C & Vitamins A) that contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
For this reason, rice benefits the skin by helping with acne, brightening the skin, lightening pigmentation, calming irritated skin, increasing firmness, reducing wrinkles, and protecting the skin from free radicals like the sun.
Cooked rice can be used as either a face wash or toner.
To prepare rice wash:
1. Rinse 1/2 a cup of white rice to get ride of dirt.
2. Grab a pot.
3. Add rinsed rice into the pot.
4. Add 1 cup of water into the pot.
5.Let rice soak for 30mins.
6. Strain out water.
Immediately after using the rice wash, your skin will feel smooth, bright, firm and clean.
