Coconut Oil As A Makeup Remover

Coconut oil is an excellent makeup remover. It is all natural and provides extra benefits to your skin that a makeup remover or a makeup wipe may not do.

To use, simply take some coconut oil onto your hand and massage it onto your face, like you would with a cleanser. Instantly, your makeup should begin to come off, after which you should wash your face with warm water and then pat dry.

Coconut Oil vs Makeup Remover

  • Compared to using a makeup remover that requires the use of a cotton pad or wipe, coconut oil can be used on its own, which means your skin does not get tugged or pulled at.
  • Coconut oil moisturizes the skin, whereas a makeup remover strips the skin away from any moisture.
  • Coconut oil also leaves the skin feeling smooth, supple, soft and glowy.
  • Lastly, coconut oil gives help with lash and eyebrow growth!

I do however want to mention that, coconut oil does clog pores, so if you have oily skin or breakout easily, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend using coconut oil as an alternative to makeup remover.

Lastly, you want to be using virgin cold pressed coconut oil, which is all organic and not regular coconut oil which is refined.

I can’t remember where I read it, but I learned that You can make a coconut oil, baking soda and lavender oil facial scrub. I tried it. It’s incredible and works so well but SO gently! Cool post! Cheers and thank You! πŸ™‚
