My Go To Makeup Remover – Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Ladies and gentlemen we all know how important it is to remove our makeup before bed. Without removing our makeup we are setting ourselves up for possible breakouts and quickening the skin’s aging process. To prevent this, we need a good makeup remover that wipes away all of the foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick etc.

My go to makeup remover is the ‘Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water’, shown below.

To use, I usually take the remover on to 1-2 cotton pads depending on how much makeup I have on and then I simply wipe all of the product off my skin.

This makeup remover is honeslty great, it instantly removes all of my makeup. I do not feel the need to rigorously scrub the remover into my skin, all of my makeup simply comes off in a gentle swipe. The after results are also amazing. My face visibly looks and feels fresh, bright and glowy. As per the packaging, you do not even need to wash your face with water after, the makeup remover does the job itself, which I do completely standby. But, because I like to make sure that my skin is super clean, I do still go ahead and wash my face with a gentle cleanser.

All in all, I prefer this makeup remover over the ones I have tried and tested, specifically makeup wipes. I believe that makeup wipes aren’t as gentle, and they require continuous rubbing and wiping of the skin, which can leave the skin dry and irritated.

Let me know if you have ever tried the Garnier makeup remover or which one you are currently using in the comments!
