Himalaya Herbals Neem Pack

Himalaya is a well known brand that offers various skin care products, including face washes, exfoliates, face masks, etc. The product that I have been the most interested in lately is the neem pack.

The neem pack is made out of neem, which is a type of tree that originates from India. Neem has a lot of different historic uses; it has been used as an insect repellent and even a food ingredient. But most importantly, neem has been used to cure and heal any skin problems, such as cuts and bruises. When I learned this, I was immediately intrigued and decided to go ahead and purchase the neem facemask. (Side Note: I have also been using the neem face wash).

So the actual neem face mask comes in a bottle, as shown in the picture below. As per the labelling, the face mask intends to clean the skin and prevent acne. It also contains turmeric and it is a hundred percent herbal (Turmeric is a food item that is also very helpful in getting rid of acne and breakouts).

Below is a picture of what the actual mask looks like. The product isn’t a very attractive colour, but I do love the smell (although some might disagree) it reminds me of trees and plants.

To use, apply a thick layer of the mask on clean skin and leave it on for a good 15 to 20 minutes or until dry. Do avoid your eye and mouth area. Also, I would like to add that before using any new face products, do try a patch on your wrist to ensure you are not allergic.

Shown below is a picture of what the mask looks on and what it will transform to once it is dry.

To wash off the product, wet the face to bring out the dark green colour again with lukewarm water. Next, using curricular motions gently scrub off the facemask; this will allow you to exfoliate your skin at the same time. Once you have completely washed your face, pat dry your skin and apply a good moisturizer.
